The students at Dorcas and Monongah Elementary all completed the interest survey that I constructed for them. I found the survey from an online source, but of course had to modify it for the Kindergarteners that I would be working with. I worked with Dorcas students first, and after decided to take out/modify questions in the survey even more to better fit Kindergarteners needs. The second time around, with Monongah students, I feel instruction went more smoothly with less questions. The completed one was done by my struggling student. (*It took me so long to figure out the words that he had wrote in the "Color" square! When I finally realized what they all were I was so amazed! See if you can guess what color he was trying to spell with each word he has in the color square!)
Welcome to my teaching blog! I've been a blogger for a while now and have learned some pretty cool stuff. Through the years I have collected artifacts from my teaching experience! Enjoy :]

Yellow, purple, brown, orange, black! I love inventive spelling!
I just saw this comment! I was wondering if you were going to try to figure out his spelling, I'd hoped so because I loved looking at all the student's spelling, especially this students! :)
