After completing the survey/quiz, I found that my three strongest intelligences are kinesthetic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal.
My preferred learning style is kinesthetic. At the beginning of the year, Dr. McKeen had all her students to the VARK test. I was almost positive that I was a kinstetic learner, and these two tests proved so too. There are several strategies that can be used for students who prefer this type of learning style.
•They learn best by DOING. From experimenting and first hand experience. They will enjoy anything hands on that you will bring to the table. Manipulatives work awesome!
•Any physical movement that can be incorporated into instruction.
•Role-play. This will help them gain further understanding of keyconcepts.
•Small group discussions. (Let the students group together to discuss/study the topic and/or materials at hand)
•Field trips
•Keep students moving. Become figetdy if sitting for long periods at a time.
•Keep instruction flowing and entertaining but don’t lose them!
Also, I have been told before that those who prefer this learning style really enjoy when any type of art is incorporated in instruction. ( I know I do! )

Excellent strategies for Kinesthetic learners! Almost everybody has Kinesthetic learning as one of their top three. It so interesting that this learning style seems to actually be oppressed in school.
